Fom the hallway you pass through a beautiful wooden arched doorway to the rental cave, with its large, bright living room with a wood burner and Morocan themed touches. Straight back is the purple bedroom with its ensuite full bathroom. To the left of the living room is the other full kitchen. The pink bedroom is to the right of the kitchen, with its ensuite full bathroom.
To the left, the kitchen opens onto the delightful enclosed patio with its elegant sitting area and sun terrace with jacuzzi. This is a wonderful space to relax and enjoy the outdoor living.
The caves feature beautiful patterned Moroccan motif tiles in the bathrooms and kitchens. The bathrooms and two bedrooms have electric heating. This property has been designed with care and is well maintained.
Location, services, and tourist attractions
Galera is situated on the edge of the Galera Badlands near several mountain ranges, ideal for walking, hiking, mountain biking, hang gliding, stargazing and 4x4 outings. There are turquoise lakes within a 20-45-minute drive. Each village has a communal swimming pool, often fed by spring water. The closest coastal beaches are 1hr 30 min drive and the Sierra Nevada ski station is 2hrs 15 min away.
Galera has restaurants, bars, banks, basic shops including two bakeries, a pharmacy, 3 grocery stores including a fishmonger, and a weekly market. Galera and the surrounding villages celebrate historic and cultural events with vibrant festivals throughout the year. Galera and the neighboring villages are also known for their archaelogical sites, homes to the first humans to arrive in Europe, as well as the remains of a massive mammoth.
